Fast Consensus of High-order Multi-agent Systems

In this paper, the fast consensus problem of high-order multi-agent systems (MASs) under undirected topologies is considered. The direct link between convergence rate and control gains established. A gradient descent based algorithm proposed to optimize rate. By applying Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion, lower bound on derived, explicit are derived as conditions achieve optimal Moreover, a protocol with time-varying designed finite-time consensus. Explicit formulas for final state given. Numerical examples simulation results presented illustrate obtained theoretical results.
